Solomon
Woods is a professional African American male, raising his teen-aged son,
Isaiah. This is a relatively easy task for this automotive design
engineer, with exception to his daily struggle to hide his secret life and
habits from his son. The lure of drugs, money, and enigmatic women is in
direct conflict with his desire to maintain a strong relationship with God
and Isaiah. This self induced struggled renders Solomon shackled in a
state of spiritual and emotional unrest.
Brotherwood is a fictionalized account of real-life events, told by
author Gregory B. Williams, who in March of 2000 found himself caught in
the cross fire of the war or drugs and facing eight mandatory years in the
Ohio State Penitentiary.
