KENNY
is a highly qualified and tenured teacher for the Lansing School
District located in Lansing, Michigan. As an educator, he believes
every student has within them the seeds of personal and academic
greatness. His unique teaching style blends humor, motivation and
real-world experience. Kenny’s motto for teaching is “you must touch
their hearts to reach their minds.” This formula is what drives him to
help students reach a higher level of success.
Being the first college graduate of his family,
Kenny credits his success to his mother and teachers who taught him to
think B.I.G (Believe In Greatness and Believe
In God). Taking their advice, he received his
undergraduate degree in Social Science Education from Mississippi Valley
State University and Masters of Education – Professional Development
from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. He also had the privilege to
study law at Thomas Cooley and is preparing to pursue a doctorate in
higher education.
Kenny has a natural passion for motivating
others to realize their greatness by living their dreams. He is a peak
performance coach, mentor, motivational speaker and author. Kenny is a
certified graduate of Kevin Bracy’s From the Ground Up “New Speaker”
Spring Training and a member of Toastmasters, International.
